Use the substitution method by using all of the coordinates into y=-2x-8

(-8,8)

y=-2x-8

8=-2(-8)-8

do the bracket first

8=16-8

8=8

(-6,2)

2=-2-(6)-8

2=12-8

2=4

(-2,4)

4=-2(-2)-8

4=4-8

4=-4

(0,-4)

-4=-2(0)-8

-4=-8

(2,-12)

-12=-2(2)-8

-12=-4-8

-12=-12
