We know that the sum of all the angles is 180

Hence

m∠T + m∠U + m∠V = 180

(10x+14) + (x-7) +(2x+4) =180

10x+14+x-7+2x+4 =180

13x+11=180

13x=169

x=13

m∠U = (x-7)

=13-7=6
