In a transformer a 120 volt dc Primary of 500 turns is connected to a secondary of 75 turns. What is the Induced voltage in the Secondary?

We have given number of turns in primary
N_1=500

Primary voltage
V_1=120volt

Number of turns in secondary
N_2=75

For the transformer we know that
(N_1)/(N_2)=(V_1)/(V_2)

So
(500)/(75)=(120)/(V_2)


V_2=18\ volt

So the induced voltage across secondary is 18 volt
