Answer: Option B

y=5x-11

Explanation:

The equation of a line has the following form:

y=mx+b

Where m is the slope of the line and b is the intersection with the y axis

So the slope of the line
y = 5x - 4 is
m = 5

By definition if two lines are parallel then they will have the same slope. Therefore the line parallel to
y = 5x - 4 will have the same slope:

y=5x+b

To find b we substitute point (3, 4) in the equation and solve for b

4=5(3)+b

4=15+b

b=4-15\\b=-11

Then the equation is:

y=5x-11
