6.5c - 2.5c + 9 = -7

6.5c - 2.5c + 9 = -7

4.0c+9= -7

move +9 to the other side

sign changes from +9 to -9

4c+9-9= -7-9

4c= -16

divide by 4 for both sides

4c/4= -16/4

c= -4

Answer : c= -4
