You call the help desk to report a problem you are having on your computer. The technician asks you what operating system you are running. You know it is Windows 7 but you forget which version. How can you find out?

Answer:

Select the Start. button, type Computer in the search box, right-click on Computer, and then select Properties.

Under Windows edition, you'll see the version and edition of Windows that your device is running.

Step-by-step explanation:

In every computer system, the information about the computer system, the operating system it is using and the information about the Random Access Memory, Read Only Memory and similar information are available in the properties section of every computer. The property section can be opened by right clicking on the My Computer Icon, which is mostly placed on the desktop, or if not placed there, it can be searched by going to the start menu and searching for it in the system by writing it in the search bar. Once you find the My Computer icon, just right click on that and select properties. When you click on the properties, the all information about the windows will be open in front of you. Through there you can get the information about the operating system and can tell to your technician about the specs.
