What integer is larger -19 or -20 and why?

Answer: -19

Explanation:

In integers whichever is a smaller number is bigger than the number that is bigger. In this case -19 is bigger than -20 so -19 > -20. The integer of -19 is 19. The integer of a number is always the opposite. For example -23 is the integer of 23.
