a) Since ∠FGI is bisected, that means ∠FGH and ∠HGI are congruent.

Therefore, 5x - 3 = 6x - 8

x to one side: 6x - 5x = -3 + 8

Subtract: x = 5

Plug in: m∠FGH = 5(5) - 3

Simplify: 25 - 3 = 22

m∠FGH = 22°

b) Since ∠FGH is congruent to ∠HGI, m∠FGH = m∠HGI.

Through substitution, m∠HGI = 22°

c) ∠FGI is ∠FGH and ∠HGI combined, so m∠FGI = m∠FGH + m∠HGI

Substitute: m∠FGI = 22° + 22°

Add: m∠FGI = 44°
