Website W receives orders for its products every day. What is the Standard Deviation of the number of orders that Website W received daily for the past 5 days?

(1) The Average (Arithmetic Mean) number of orders that Website W received each per day for the past 5 days is equal to the greatest of the number of orders that Website W received daily for the past 5 days.

(2) The range of the number of orders that Website W received daily for the past 5 days is Zero.

The website received the same number of orders for its products every day.

Explanation:

In (1), it says that the average of the 5 days is equal to the greatest of the number of orders.

That means that in every day they got the same number of orders because the only way to get the average = day with the greatest number of orders is that every day have the same number of orders.

For example, if average is 5, that means that the total of orders is the average multiplied by the number of days.

5*5=25

And if the greatest number is equal to the average, that means that the left orders are 20.

Therefore in the left 4 days, they have to get 20 orders but the numbers of the orders for each day should be equal or less than 5. if it is less than 5, they could never get the 20 orders left

In (2) says that the range of the number of orders is Zero, therefore, there is no variation between the greatest number of order and the smallest one, resulting in the same number of orders each day.
