By definition the sinx function is defined as:


sin(x) = (opposite)/(hypotenuse)

Where

Opposite is the length of the side opposite the angle x.

Hypotenuse is the logitude of the side opposite the angle of 90 °

Note that in this case:


x = G = 37 \°


Hypotenuse = 55


opposite=CV

So we have to:


sin(37\°) = (CV)/(55)

Now ew solve the equation for CV side:


CV=sin(37\°)*55\\\\CV=33.1
