m/4 - 7 = -3

move -7 to the other side

sign changes from -7 to 7

m/4-7+7= -3+7

m/4=4

Mutiply both sides by 4

m/4*4= 4(4)

m= 16

Answer: m= 16

Start by adding 7 to both sides. This would make it m/4=4. Then multiply both sides by 4, making m=16.
