In what ways is your natural language different from Standard English? (Material in the lesson "Learning a Standard" will help you to distinguish these two types.)

Your natural language how people speak naturally. Like people born in the country speak all country like.

Standard English is far different from this. It can’t be learned by simply being around other people, it needs to be learned because let’s face it; you may think you speak and write perfectly at all times, but you probably don’t. Words, phrases, and overall just the way we speak around people we know and our family aren’t really appropriate in Standard English.
