\\ \sf\longmapsto sin\theta=(Perpendicular)/(Hypotenuse)

\\ \sf\longmapsto sin22=(w)/(35)

\\ \sf\longmapsto w=35sin22

\\ \sf\longmapsto w=35(0.37)

\\ \sf\longmapsto w=11.9

Answer:

w = 13.1

use sin cos tan to solve such problem

  • here 35 given as hypotenuse and 22 degree opposite of w

so using formula given below,

opposite / hypotenuse = sin ( 22 )

opposite = sin ( 22 ) * 35

opposite = 13.1

as a result if w is opposite, w = 13.1 unit
