Given the ordered pair (0, 5 ) then c = 5

Calculate the multiplier using the slope formula

with (x₁, y₁ ( = (0, 5) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (2, 6) ← 2 ordered pairs from the table

m =
(6-5)/(2-0) = 0.5, hence

y = 0.5x + 5 ← equation relating x and y
