Add all the numbers together which equals to 138 then you want to divide by the numbers which are 6 so you get 23

Answer: 23! Add your numbers, and divide that sum by the amount of numbers added to get average!

Explanation:

The average is found by adding all numbers of the sample, and diving by the amount of numbers added. For example:

The average of 1, 2, and 3. You first add 1 + 2 + 3 to get 6.

You then divide 6 by the number of numbers added, being 3 (1, 2, and 3.).

6 / 3 = 2. The average of 1, 2, and 3 is 2.

In your case, you have 35, 40, 12, 16, 25, and 10.

First you add 35 + 40 + 12 + 16 + 25 + 10 to get 138.

Then you divide 138 by the amount of numbers you added: 6.

138 divided by 6 = 23 (138/6).

Hope this helps!

Add your numbers, and divide that sum by the amount of numbers added to get average!
