Explanation:

ah this seems to be a simple inverse function. well, in the case you mean 2x, this is easy. (Glad my textbook has this because im reading right out of it) well, this function is assigning a twice x minus 16. All we need to do is add 16 and divide by 2, like this. I'm not skilled enough to verify by determining composition but you can do that on your own time.
