(You find this by taking the difference between the two and dividing it by the original number, then multiplying that answer by 100 for the percentage. [(28 - 25)/25] * 100 = 12% )

I then multiply the suggested mileage by the percentage decimal plus one. This will take the 1000 miles and add 12%.

1000 * 1.12 = 1,120 miles
