of antique picket fencing are to be used to enclose the garden, find the dimensions of the garden.

Answer:

Length l= 105 feet

Breadth b=
(2 * 105)/(3)=70 feet

Explanation:

Let the length l of the field be x

Hence the breadth b of the field is
(2x)/(3)

Given that the perimeter P is 350 feet

Perimeter is given as P=2(l+b)

350=2(x+(2x)/(3))

350=2((3x+2x)/(3))

350=2((5x)/(3))

350 * 3=2 * 5x

350 * 3=10x

x=(350 * 3)/(10)

x=35 * 3

x=105

Hence Length l= 105 feet

Breadth b=
(2 * 105)/(3)=70 feet
