If a fossil is found in a rock layer, would you assume it to be older than younger than,

or the same age as the rock it is found in?

The same age
Explanation: If there is a fossil in a rock then yes the fossil could have landed in the dirt or the dirt was on it but that is only a bit of time so it’s best to average it out and say it was the same time
