10 times 6 is 12. 10 is the minutes per mile and there are 60 minutes in an hour[60 divided by 10 is 6]. if you multiply 12 times two [ problem says for 2 hours] you will get the answer of 24

Answer:

\boxed{\text{12 mi}}

Explanation:

1.Convert hours to minutes

60 min = 1 h

\text{Time} = \text{2 h} * \frac{\text{60 min}}{\text{1 h}} = \text{120 min}

2. Calculate the distance

They can cover 1 mi in 10 min

\text{Distance} = \text{120 min} * \frac{\text{1 mi}}{\text{10 min}} = \textbf{12 mi}\\\\\text{Abe and his dog will jog $\boxed{\textbf{12 mi}}$}
