answer: 28 inches squared

step-by-step explanation: i split this up by rectangles, to make it easier to visualize.

the top horizontal rectangle has a side length of 4 inches and a height of 2, (4 x 2) making the area 8.

the top and bottom rectangles have the same side lengths and heights (4 x 2), so therefore the bottom rectangle also has an area of 8 inches squared.

the middle/vertical rectangle has a side length of 2 and a height of 6, making its area 12.

to find the area of the entire face, you would add the three together.

12 + 8 + 8 = 28 inches squared.

i provided a photo of the split-up rectangle, in case you're a more visual learner, or in case i explained it awkwardly.

hope this helps! :)

Answer:

28 in²

Explanation:

10 times 2 is 20. 2 times 2 is 4. again 2 times 2 is 4. Add 20, both 4 and 4 which is 28
