Answer:

1053/44 or 23 41/44

Explanation:

first convert the mixed numbers into full fractions

6 3/4 = 27/4 (i got this by multiplying the whole number by the bottom and adding the top)

3 6/11 = 39/11

then to multiply just go straight across

27/4 * 39/11 = 1053/44 or 23 41/44

let's firstly convert the mixed fractions to improper fractions and then multiply.

\bf \stackrel{mixed}{6(3)/(4)}\implies \cfrac{6\cdot 4+3}{4}\implies \stackrel{improper}{\cfrac{27}{4}}~\hfill \stackrel{mixed}{3(6)/(11)}\implies \cfrac{3\cdot 11+6}{11}\implies \stackrel{improper}{\cfrac{39}{11}} \\\\[-0.35em] ~\dotfill\\\\ \cfrac{27}{4}\cdot \cfrac{39}{11}\implies \cfrac{27\cdot 39}{4\cdot 11}\implies \cfrac{1053}{44}\implies 23(41)/(44)
