A lunch menu consists of 8 different sandwiches, 5 different soups, and 3 different drinks. How many choices are there for ordering a sandwich, a bowl of soup, and a drink?

Answer:

120 different choices

Explanation:

When finding out the amount of different combinations we multiply because for each of the 8 different sandwiches there are 5 different soups so we multiply 8 by 5 which is 40 and for each of those different combinations there are also 3 different drinks so we then multiply 40 by 3 which is 120.
