Katherine Johnson's impact on society today
Katherine Johnson, an American mathemitician has impacted the gobal society
by mastering manual calculations and contirbuting to the successful space programs.
She also pioneered the
use of computers for daily tasks
which has changed the society in general. The society today
makes use of computers for every small task.
With her contribution in NASA, she has been able to help in several projects like the
Space Shuttle program
, sending the f
irst American in space and orbit and also the Apollo Lunar Model.
