A template is anything which gives a basic structure from which it can be developed according to the need. It is not necessary that the template needs to be used as it is.

The user can do minor changes not destroying its purpose that the template serve as a base. Normally a template of a document fixes the page size, margins, etc.

A readymade template enable us to kick start the document writing faster than to do content writing from the scratch.

Answer:

Template.

Step-by-step explanation:

A template is a term in technology which refers to a starting point, the way a new document looks and behaves. This is something that's already preformatted for you, or you can choose various options such as margins, paper size, and many other options in order to customize your own document for the future. You can even download various templates for business plans, organization plans, budget plans, etc. if you don't want to create your own ones.
