Answer: B. Exothermic
Formation of chemical bonds is always an exothermic process and breaking bonds is an endothermic process. When a bond is formed the system loses energy and increases its stability. When a system loses energy that is an exothermic process. When a system takes in energy from its surroundings or needs added energy it’s is an endothermic process.
Hope this helped. Any questions please feel free to ask. Have a blessed day.
