\huge\boxed{\mathbb{HELLO!:)}}

We are asked to use the Distributive property to simplify this expression.

All we have to do is multiply -2 by everything inside the parentheses:

a(b+c)

-2(x-3)

-2x+6

\huge\boxed{\mathcal{ANSWER:{\boxed{-2x+6)}}}}}

For this case we must simplify the following expression:

-2 (x-3)

By definition we have that the distributive property establishes that:

a (b + c) = ab + ac

So, if we have:

-2 (x-3)

We take into account the law of multiplication of signs:

- * + = -\\- * - = +

So:

-2 (x-3) = - 2x + 2 * 3 = -2x + 6

Answer:

-2x + 6
