I want to have a say in my government’s decisions.

Step-by-step explanation:

I want to have a voice in deciding the future of my country, but I don't think that it makes much of an impact due to the problem with the electoral voting system.

Answer:

  1. I believe that it is my responsibility as a citizen
  2. I want to be able to choose my representatives.

Step-by-step explanation:

One of the responsibilities of citizens is voting.

Although, the law does not force any citizen or make it mandatory for the citizen to participate in the voting process but voting is a very important part of any democracy and by voting, citizens are participating in the democratic process, directly or indirectly.

In 1869, the Fifteenth Amendment prohibited the government from denying a citizen the right to vote based on that citizen's "race, color, or previous condition of servitude".

While the right to vote is one of the most important liberties citizens enjoy, it is also one of our greatest responsibilities as citizens to vote for leaders to represent them and their ideas, and the leaders support the citizens' interests.
