Answer:

Explanation:

We want everything in terms of money. Also, profit is what was earned minus what was spent. There is only one number for earning so let's start with that.

She gets profit from her jobs, which are 50 dollars per job. She completed 60, so you jst multiply the two to find the earnings. If you don't get that let me know.

60*50=3000

Now we go onto costs. keep in mind the 3000 so far and that now all costs will be subtracting from that.

There looks to be 3 different costs. Supplies, driving and phone.

Supplies was 380, so easy peasy.

Driving was .30 dollars per mile for 800 miles. So again, we just multiply the two, and you can ask if you don't get why.

.3*800=240

You also could multiply 800 by 3/10 since .3=3/10 OR you could divide it by 10/3. I'll be happy to explain if you don't get that either. Anyway...

Phone was 198. Again, super easy.

Now we can do all the math, earnings minus costs.

earnings was 3000 and we figured out all the costs.

3000-380-240-198 = 2182

So it's $2,182.00
