Applying values we get


V_(t)=18rad/sec* 3=54m/s

Resolving the speed along the x and y axis as shown in the figure we get


V_(y)=V_(t)cos(\theta )\\\\\therefore V_(y)=54cos((\pi )/(3))\\\\V_(y)=27m/s
