Explanation:

The sum of the two angles is 180° the "angle" of a straight line.

Which means:

(5x+10)°+(x+14)°=180°

(6x+24)°=180°

6x=156°

x=26°

So angle 1 is: 5*26+10=140° and angle 2 is: 26+14=40°.
