Protists are eukaryotic organisms. They can be photosynthetic or non-photosynthetic. One of the characteristics of protist is that some organism have silica deposit in their cell wall.
- Example of protist found in North Georgia are - amoeba, paramecium.
Eubacteria are also prokaryotes i.e., their cells do not have well defined nucleus. Eubacteria can be autotrophs or heterotrophs.
- Examples of Eubacteria that are found in North Georgia are - Bacillus species, coccus species. Both group of organisms are equally important for the ecosystem.
