Given:

Velocity of the shot , V = 25 m/s

Angle made from the horizontal, θ = 32°

Now,

The horizontal component of the velocity will be given as:

Vh = Vcosθ

or

Vh = 25 × cos 32°

or

Vh = 21.201 m/s

and,

The vertical component of the velocity will be given as:

Vv = Vsinθ

or

Vv = 25 × sin 32°

or

Vv = 13.247 m/s
