Answer:

See below

Step-by-step explanation:

There are many components of ecosystems including trophic level, food web, food chain, consumers, and producers. Food web is the term that includes all the other terms. It describes the interconnected feeding habits of all the organisms in an ecosystem. In a food web, more than one animal may be eaten by the predator. An owl might eat both mice and rabbits. The owl, if it eats secondary consumers, is a tertiary consumer. On the other hand, the rabbit, which only eats producers, is a primary consumer. These are examples of trophic levels. A food chain describes a specific ecosystem and only has one organism for each trophic level. Producers are organisms that make their own food from the sun's energy, whereas consumers cannot obtain their own food and must eat other organisms to obtain energy.

All of the ecosystems have a food web. The food web includes all of the living organisms in the ecosystem, thus it is comprised of numerous food chains. There is a hierarchy in the food chains though, and basically all organisms can be divided into two groups, producers and consumers, with the consumers further being separated into several types of consumers. The producers and consumers represent the trophic levels, with the producers being the one on the bottom, while the tertiary consumers being on the top of the food chain.
