Answer:

\large\boxed{y=(1)/(18)x-(2)/(3)}

Explanation:

The slope-intercept form of an equation of a line:

y=mx+b

m - slope

b - y-intercept

We have the equation in the standard form (Ax + By = C).

Convert to the slope-intercept form:

x-18y=12 subtract x from both sides

x-x-18y=12-x

-18y=12-x divide both sides by (-18)

(-18y)/(-18)=(12)/(-18)+(-x)/(-18)\\\\y=-(12)/(18)+(x)/(18)\\\\y=(1)/(18)x-(12:6)/(18:6)\\\\y=(1)/(18)x-(2)/(3)

Solve the equation for y
make sure there is a clear coefficient on x (instead of x/3 put 1/3x, for example)
y = 1/18x - 2/3
