Answer:

The Second World War, which initiated officially on 3rd September 1939, with the war declaration from France and Britain due to Germany´s invasion of Poland, saw a lot of events happen in its entire duration. From the list of events presented in this question, the organization, with dates, would be as follows:

4. The Allied forces land on five French beaches in Normandy. This event took place on 6 June 1944 and it is commonly known as D Day. A big turning point in the war as the Allies began to push Germany from France and recover a great portion of Europe.

3. American soldiers and French fighters march northwwards through France. This happens during 1944 and it is thanks to it that the Allies, after a lot of battles, finally recover Paris, and liberate France from the German control.

2. The Nazi forces surrender to the Allies in Paris. Happens on 25th August, 1944. The Allies finally overcome the German forces and recuperate France by claiming back Paris, its capital.

1. The Allies liberate Belgium and the Netherlands from Nazi control. This takes place on 4th May, 1945, after Hitler has died and Admiral Donitz had taken over the control of Germany as Hitler´s successor. The war, at least in the European front, has almost come to its end.
