Aquagenic urticaria is the condition when human body is allergic to water. Any type of contact with water leads to hives breakout on skin which can last anywhere from half an hour to one hour. There is no cure for this condition and it can only be managed with antihistamines. People with this condition usually limit their shower time. Most would have only 2 minute shower with cold water per week. They would also reduce activities that lead to sweating. Dry shampooing is also preferred.
