Answer: 5 bags

Explanation:

Given : Mr. Daniel has
1(2)/(3) acres of land in which he plans to fertilize.

Here
1(2)/(3)=(3(1)+2)/(3)=(5)/(3)

Each bag of fertilizer covers
(1)/(9) of an acre .

By using UNITARY METHOD ,the number of bags of fertilizer required for
(5)/(3) of an acre :-

(5)/(3)/(1)/(9)=(5)/(3)*9=15\text{ bags}

If he bought 20 bags of fertilizer , then he left over = 20 -15 = 5 bags

hence, he left over with 5 bags of fertilizer.
