Explanation:

3x+5y=29 .........*2 (multiply by2) = 6x+10y=58

2x+3y=18 *-3 = (multiply by -3)= -6x-9y = -54

ADD both(-6x cancels 6x) y= 4

2x+ 3y = 18 2x+ 12 = 18 2x = 6 x = 3
