how much is 75% of 32? how about 80% of 32?

\bf \begin{array}ll \cline{1-1} \textit{a\% of b}\\ \cline{1-1} \\ \left( \cfrac{a}{100} \right)\cdot b \\\\ \cline{1-1} \end{array}~\hspace{5em}\stackrel{\textit{75\% of 32}}{\left( \cfrac{75}{100} \right)32}\implies 24~\hfill \stackrel{\textit{80\% of 32}}{\left( \cfrac{80}{100} \right)32}\implies 25.6

so he answered 24 correctly already, how many more to get 80%? well, 80% of 32 as you saw above is 25.6, he already answered 24, so if he just answer 2 more, namely he would then had correctly answered 26 or more, he'll get 80% correct ones.
