Divide both sides by 18

Then u get P=11/9 [P=1 2/9, P=1.2]
11 on top
9 on bottom

Explanation:

p² + 16p-22 = 0

=>p² + 16p=22

=>p² + 16p+8²=22+8²

=>(p+8)²=86

=>(p+8)=±√86

=>p=±√86-8
