Let x = number of inches plant grows in a month.

(3/4)/x = 1 week/4 weeks

x(1) = (3/4)(4)

x = 3

Answer: 3 inches

Answer: There are 3 inches that the plant grow in a month.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

In every week , a plant grows =
(3)/(4) of an inch

1 month = 4 weeks

Number of inches the plant grow in a month would be

(3)/(4)* 4\\\\=3\ inhes

So, the ratio in fractional form of number of inches the plant grows in a month is
(3)/(1)

Hence, there are 3 inches that the plant grow in a month.
