To solve this you must cross multiply. This means that numerator multiples with the denominator of the fraction on the opposite side of equal sign

4*54= m*9

216= 9m

To isolate m divide 9 to both sides

216/9= 9m/9

24 = m

Hope this helped!

Answer:

24

Explanation:

we cross multiply and do algebra and solve for m as shown below:

(4)/(9)=(m)/(54)\\9m=4*54\\9m=216\\m=(216)/(9)\\m=24

Thus, simply, m = 24

2nd answer choice is right.
