What concept of democracy is best illustrated by the following?

One may say that enforcing speed limit laws is infringing on the individual's right to decide for himself/herself how fast he/she want to drive, but this is done as a protection for all citizens.

Democracy concept is evident and straightforward. It has different classifications and modes that it needs to achieve. In this concept, individuals are classified as minority’s immigrants and natives. For instance, the speed limits enforcement is among the conditions of visibility of the traffic.

The conditions, therefore, have influence; on the speed that people are driving at in the road and the type of communication used. Therefore, due to this, it is clear that democracy is a government manifestation aimed at creating equality for all citizens.

Answer: Democracies respect personal liberties and freedoms.

Step-by-step explanation:

The best explanation for this statement is based on the concept of personal liberties and freedoms. Originally stated by John Locke, this concept says that each man/woman owns the property of his/her own person or body. When someone wants to drive at any given speed invoking his /her own freedom to do so,he/she is infringing personal liberties because this action will probably end in causing damage to someone else. His/her freedom ends when other's person body is in the danger.
