Hello there! Given the equation, we can distribute:

2x + 4 = 2x + 5

This equation has no solution. The variable, x, cannot be properly solved for because no matter what x equals, 2x + 5 will always have an answer that is one more than 2x + 4 because 5 is one number greater than 4. Since the coefficient of this equation is the same, the answer will be either infinite solutions or no solutions. Since the constants are different, however, the expression has no solution. Hope this helps!
