I am going to assume that A and a are the same variable. For future reference, a and A wouldn't be considered the same variable so be careful with that :)

We can first plug in 2 for a and 4 for b

4(2) + 2(4^2) - 2(2 - 3(4))

8 + 2(16) - 2(2 - 12)

8 + 32 - 2(-10)

8 + 32 - (-20)

8 + 32 + 20
