2x + y = -1
Can someone tell me how to graph this?

Convert this Standard Form to Slope-Intercept Form. To do this, first, move -2x to the right side of the equivalence symbol and since y is already isolated, that is the only thing you have to do, and you will arrive at this:

y = -2x - 1

To graph this, start from your y-intercept of [0, -1], where it intersects the y-axis, and since your rate of change [slope] is -2, do rise\run by moving two blocks south over 1 block east. Repeat this process up until you form a line.

I am joyous to assist you anytime.
