By preaching pre-destination and believing that we shouldn't have fun to show our faith to god, like no music, no dancing, no singing or no playing.

The puritans took this to heart.

Answer:

The Puritans in the colonies of New England built towns along with Churches as a place of worship and gathering place. They established local governments which cooperated with the ministers and conducted judgment for the followers if they strayed from bible teaching. Puritans life in the colonies was hard with working from sun up to down. They believe that idle hands were the devil's playground. The life of the puritans revolved around the teachings of the bible and working rather than enjoying it leisurely.
