Hello there!

We are factoring the expression: x²+12x+35

Factor:

x²+12x+35

Lets first minimize the expression by grouping it into simpler terms.

x²+12x+35

(x² + 7x) (5x + 35)

Now, we can factor the x out in the expression

x (x + 7 ) + 5(x + 5)

Factor out the 5

(x + 7) (x + 5)

When you're done factoring, you should end up with (x + 7) (x + 5)

Answer: (x + 7) (x + 5)

I hope this helps!

Answer:

(x+7) * (x+5)

Explanation:

x^2 +12x + 35

So to factored this, you would have to find 2 number that sum is 12 and when multiply they get 35. As you can see, the only possible for 2 number sum = 12, multiply = 35 are 5 and 7

So I would do:

x^2 +12x + 35

= x^2 + 5x + 7x + 35

= x*(x+5) + 7*(x+5)

= (x+7) * (x+5)

Hope this help you :3
