4x+5<6x - 7

First step, lets group terms of 'x' variable on one side of the inequality, it is common to put then in the side of the greater term, in our case, this would be the right side since it has 6x. To do this, we can subtract the term '4x' to the whole inequality.

4x+5-4x<6x-4x-7

Thus we have:

5<2x-7

Now lets do the same to free terms, lets sum 7 this time

5+7<2x-7+7

12<2x.

Now, lets divide the expression by 2.

12/2 <2x/2

6<x

Hence our solution is x>6
